I have the vast experience it takes to build bridges among the parties and disparate organizations, and the proven, trusted ability to enhance the daily lives of the people of the 56th.
I’ve been a business owner, a council member, and currently serve as mayor of Midway. As mayor, our good governance has led to a 325% increase in revenue through job creation, and with our surplus we invested in infrastructure, services, personnel, and parks. We even cut property taxes by 40% and sewer rates by 25%, which helped moderate and middle class earners most.
The majority of the current General Assembly has voted for bills that will prevent citizens from fully seeing what their government is doing, will slash funding to public education, and will weaken our pension system that teachers especially rely on because they don’t receive social security.
Each decision made in Frankfort can crucially impact our daily lives. As your next state representative, I won't hide behind legislative secrecy, I’ll be available to all my constituents – not just the ones I agree with – and I’ll use good Kentucky common sense to make your life better.
